iPads in the Classroom

One piece of technology that nearly every educator has their eye on is the Apple iPad®, which has certainly been making waves in the world of educational resources!  We’ve had a number of questions about getting these tablets for educational use, so we’ve decided to collect a few good resources for those of you looking to get and use iPads in the classroom:

This EdReach column provides five great ideas for getting both iPods® and iPads into your classroom.  Even if your district doesn’t have the funding, there are a number of different things teachers can do to work toward getting these devices for your students.

No teacher should buy a new iPad without taking full advantage of the discount that Apple makes available to educators.  The Apple Store for Education allows you to identify your educational organization, and will update the prices for all of its’ products to represent the discount that you’re eligible to receive.

    Thanks for sharing your ideas! To be honest, I think that every classroom in the country should be stocked with iPads. They’re a great learning tool, and with the way the world is moving, extremely relevant as well.
